Join us as we explore South Africa’s most famous peninsula, travelling from the city centre, along the atlantic seaboard and all the way down to the south-western tip of the African continent.
Our adventure begins with a scenic drive along Chapman’s Peak, where we’ll stop to photograph the breathtaking views over Hout Bay — a perfect way to kick off the day.
From there, we head to Cape Point for a relaxed walk up to the historic lighthouse. At the top, you’ll be rewarded with legendary views of the Cape Peninsula.
Afterward, we make our way down to the iconic Cape of Good Hope sign for an essential selfie. This area lies within the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve in Table Mountain National Park, so keep your eyes open — baboons, ostriches, and large antelope are often spotted here.
Next, we follow the coastline to the clear waters and soft white sands of Boulders Beach, home to the famous African penguin colony that lives here year-round. It’s a rare opportunity to see these charismatic animals up close in their natural habitat.
To wrap up the day, we head to Muizenberg Beach, where you can enjoy lunch at a local favourite of your choice. You’ll then have free time to relax on this iconic surf beach, snap photos of the colourful beach huts, visit the Shark Spotters HQ, and treat yourself to a delicious ice cream.
